The tallest documented human being of modern times, Wadlow (1918–1940), who reached a height of 8´11?, made his living as a touring novelty attraction and shoe company spokesman before dying at the age of 22. Vintage glossy 3.5 x 5.25 postcard photo of Wadlow standing next to his normal-sized father, signed on the reverse in pencil. Some light creases and silvering to image and scattered light toning and soiling to reverse, otherwise fine condition.
